Hermès was founded in 1837 as Harnacheur Sellier. It is this encounter between the Horse, leather and craftsmanship that continues to this day to write history. Each saddle is the result of a rider’s request and the combination of the most beautiful leathers. It is thought, rethought and refined down to the last detail. Its assembly is carried out with know-how, technique, passion and precision. The craftsmen manufacture it by hand and ensure its solidity thanks to the famous “Sellier stitch” made with one thread and two needles.
My saddle: Hermès Vivace
Heir to the Steinkraus saddle, the Hermès Vivace show jumping saddle offers me an unequalled feeling of proximity between the horse and his rider, while providing me with optimal comfort. I particularly appreciate his balance and his advanced centre of gravity. All my saddles are made to my measurements and those of my horses for their greatest well-being.
